Una de las zonas más prolíficas en cuanto a Synthwave se refiere en todo el continente americano es sin duda la generada por la creciente comunidad de productores de Argentina, inicialmente con el grupo en Facebook Synthwave Argentina y unos años más delante emergiendo la promotora Buenos Aires Outrun, comandado por Guille Acura, organizando ya eventos de gran alcance en la ciudad capital de Buenos Aires, presentando actos en vivo de electrónica en diversas corrientes junto a video juegos de arcade, logrando reunir un crisol de audiencias asiduas al Darksynth, Cyberpunk, Synthwave, Synthpop, Chiptune entre otros.
